How do I find the sale information for the vacant lot next to my house?

There is an empty lot next to my house that is for sale. It is owned by the city or county, not privately owned. How can I find the sale information for this lot? I've already check johnlscott and windermere, etc. and it's not listed with any of the

How do you know it's for sale?

Check with your local assessors office - they should be able to at least tell you who owns it.

Dunedin officials tour city-owned properties they might want to sell

DUNEDIN — Commissioners will tour several properties as they continue to examine a list of surplus city-owned homes, vacant lots and small easements they may decide to sell.

The tours are the next step in a process begun last year to generate revenue by returning the roughly two dozen properties to the city's tax rolls.

City staffers discovered the unused resources, ranging in size from 500 square feet to 7 acres, during preliminary budget planning last year. The city acquired the parcels over the years through gifts from Pinellas County, foreclosures, inheritances from deceased owners without heirs and other means.

Up until now, the developer has seemed quite content with selling one Hali’a Hale town home a year. However, with one sold already in 2011 (1A listed for $3,300,000 and sold for $2,600,000), the timing of this price reduction indicates that they are finally ready to move the remaining six developer-built homes.

They accepted $700,000 below asking price on Kauna’oa 1A, and this week’s price reductions slash $300K-$600,000 off list prices. (Although the earlier price reduction on 10A ( MLS# 221622 ) to $1,900,000 was reported in the announcement as if it were fresh news).
