House Value?

I am planning on taking the entire carpet of my house off and replace it with tile, will this add value to my house or it will decreased? please help me decide if this will be a good move if I decide to sell the house. I live in NC.

I think you might have a smaller audience looking at your home when you sell, but I think it will help with the value. A lot of people with pets and children like homes without carpet because it is easier to clean.

It depends upon some factors I don't have based upon the info. given. Are you removing the entire drop ceiling and installing all new fixtures etc. Or are you simply replacing the old ceiling panels?
