How long does it take to establish an account for online billing?

I have a CitiBank credit card that I tried set up online payments for. They said on the phone that it takes like 4 weeks or so before you can use it. Does that sound right? Seems way too slow to me.

First time credit card holder (citibank): jargon and payments?

Okay, so my due date online is the 17th and my statement date is on the 23rd (both of this month). Which date would I pay my bill so that I don't accrue interest? How does my 20 day grace period (as set out from the card's terms & conditions) factor

Pay by the due date. The statement date is just when they "cut off" any activity that has occurred and send you a statement. Usually a grace period means you can pay (in this case) up to 20 days after the due date, and not be late, but I wouldn't

CITIBANK, one of the country’s largest credit card facilities, has formally signed a partnership with the Visayan Electric Company (Veco) for its One Bill auto-charge facility for credit card customers.

Citibank formally announced on Monday that Veco is now accepted in Citibank One Bill and all their cardholders may now enroll their Veco accounts for automatic charging to their credit cards.
