How do I transfer to the same bank (same branch) in a different city/location?

So i have this account 'here' at this bank and im gonna move to another city; am i able to deposit and withdraw immedietly to that bank (the same branch) or am i supposed to close my account 'here' and open a new one at the new city? YES I KNO IT SOUNDS
No you do not have to close your account as long it is the same bank your account number and money is in their system. Even if you bank where ever you bank and they have a branch in another state you are still able to process transaction in the other

If in same state, probably not necessary. If in different state, close the one acct before you move because otherwise you will have to send more documentation to prove who you are in order to close it.

DAYTONA BEACH -- Federal Trust Bank will close its Deltona and Palm Coast branches in November to coincide with its sale to a Davenport, Fla.-based bank called CenterState Banks Inc.
The closure of those locations will reduce the number of branches Sanford-based Federal Trust has in the Volusia-Flagler area to three -- in Orange City, New Smyrna Beach and Port Orange.
Dennis Ward, Federal Trust's chief executive officer, said four other Central Florida branches -- three in Seminole County and one in Lake County -- are also set to close.
