christmas charities..?

there are so many charities around at christmas but which one is the best one to donate to i know they are all good but i have heard that the charities don't always receive the donations

so i want to be sure what i send is received

Instead of giving to a charity this year, I have adopted a soldier, a Marine in Iraq. In times like these, the men and women out there are without their families, and I believe now is the time to show them that we care. The site is below, in sources,

Every body is asked at christmas time to give money to different charities ie children in need etc but wouldnt it be nice just to slip a fiver or a tenner into an old age pensioners hand and just say merry christmas ,.you know the little old man or woman

This has made me go all gooze bumpely! How kind, loving and makes me feel like there is some good in the world! I really do agree with this- and YES, i am going to do this!! Thank you for the great idea. When i do This though, i will only a little upset
