Ok, say your expense is $100 and the tax rate is 40%. That means you get to deduct $100, so you save $40.00 in taxes so your real expense was only $60. Do you follow that so far?
SO, that means you can take $100 X (1 - .40) or $100 X

I need a simple formula to figure the return on investment for some stores that were purchased?
Aug 20, 2007 by In A Moment | Posted in Investing
My employer wants a certain return on his investment for some stores he bought. I'd just like something simple that I could present to the people under me to help them understand what is needed from them.
Thanks for you help.
