Just wondering if anyone knows the new bankruptcy laws? Does it depend on the state or is it the same nation wide? I live in New Mexico
There are variations from state to state but the core of the legislation is the same for all states.
If you are facing bankruptcy my advice to you is to do your own research, do as much of the paperwork yourself and make sure you are clear

I need to file a chapter 7 bankruptcy, and looking for free information on the web about the laws and how one would file on their own without a lawyer. I have heard of normal people filing their own bankruptcy, but I don't know where to begin. Search
