I've been in college for several years, and I've never had a credit card. Quite frankly, I really don't want one because I don't need one. Do I NEED a credit card to help improve my score, and if so, what are the best cards out there for students.

I'm trying to improve my credit score(530) and am going to get a Bank of America secured credit card. It has a $29 annual fee and a 20% APR. Is there another proactive way to dramatically improve my score without having to face such high interest rates?

you wouldnt have to face the high APR if you dont carry a balance. pay off the bills right away instead of doing the minimums. this will help your credit go up as well.
