Can anybody help me on detailed plans of sealed glazing units for timber frame building?

I would like some information on putting in double glazed sealed units into Merlin timber framed houses. Detailed plans of sealed units please. Would be greatful to get some more info on this. Many thanks!

Hi, asking for Detailed plans of sealed units on yahoo answers is quite specific ! If its thermal quality details you need try glass manufacturers or speak to your architect. Im guessing its a new build so don't think the fact that its timber frame

Does anybody know the key wood joints I need to cut for building a timber house Frame?

I want to build a timber house, but do not know the key joints necessary, and if I can get a complete plan I would be on my way to raising the house. Thank you

Invader termites found in Waikanae house

Thousands of termites from South America, never seen before in New Zealand, have been discovered in a Waikanae home.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry plan to fumigate the Queens Rd house next month to eradicate colonies of West Indian drywood termite, which is considered one of the most damaging drywood termites internationally because it tunnels into and destroys dry timber.

If left unchecked, the termites have the potential to significantly damage timber framed homes and impact on the country's sawn timber export industry.
